The original photograph is from the Dutch book “Pasteltekenen voor beginners”. I liked the colors and wanted to make it an expressive and intense piece. Painted with Rembrandt soft pastel sticks on grey Canson Mi-Teintes pastel paper, 24 x 32 cm.
